Sulzer MIXPAC and TAH Shrouds for High Pressure Meter Mix Dispense Applications
The higher pressures associated with meter, mix and dispense equipment require the use of shrouds. If a shroud is not used, the mixer housing can expand, allowing the catalyst or resin components to bypass the mixer elements and stream down the inner housing wall, preventing an optimal mixture. Typical applications include epoxy, urethane, silicone and chemical dispensing. Meter mix equipment includes systems from Ashby-Cross, Dopag, IJ Fisnar, Liquid Control and others.
